Divergences gave me that ability when I used to play it. I miss Divergences, I wish I can see more people who play Victoria II to give a chance and create something that they can be proud of. We ended the game when we graduated from school and conceding that nobody won and we had created a mountain of corpses higher than that of Everest with all of those men who died fighting for our banners. When gas attack was invented the death storm didn't seem to stop. Both sides of the border were heavily fortified and millions died fighting in the Himalayas. When the time came we fought bitter and pointless wars over the Tibetan Plateau and Nepal. I remember forming Yuan China first and assisted the Mughal Empire against the various Indian states. We both rushed to form our form new nations of Hindustan and the Yuan Dynasty. Our initial goal was to see who could westernize the fastest, I don't remember who won that race but the Great Wars we had were incredible to point we question the ability of ever winning. I was playing an MP game with one of my buddies, he picked Mughal Empire and I picked Mongolia. One game I have never forgotten to this day. I used to spend hours playing various countries from the Dual Monarchy trying to form a grand Anglois Empire, forming the Empire of the Sun with Tawantinsuyu, Forming Germany as Bavaria denying rule of the Germans by Burgundy and Bohemia, creating a rainbow republic of Qingqiu, and much much more. I am a history buff and anything with maps and alt-history give me a hardon for this game. Also the DLC needed to play a complete game im not willing to spend at this time.

This mod is the reason why I wish to continue playing Victoria II. It is based on the latest version of PDM with some things borrowed from the Concert of Europe. In Ameriga the Incan Empire is on the eve of being a recognized nation while the Republics of Amazonia and Lotharingia fight over Atlantia. Gran Colombia is locked in a deadly war of independence against his former overlord Spain. OVer the Rockies, the old Chinese colony of Qingqiu is watching for opportunities.

In Arcadia (North America), Plantagenia, Vinland and the Seven Republics are locked in a struggle for dominance over the continent. The New-World nations have conflicting ambitions.

Germany and Italy are far from being unified, as well as Russia divided between the Republic of Novgorod and the Tsardom of Muscowy. In Europe the Dual-Monarchy of France and England, the Kingdom of Burgundy, the Holy Roman Empire led by Bohemia, the Kingdom of Scandinavia are all fighting for dominance. :pДivergences is an alternate history mod first created and thought by Kinniken in 2010 which has somehow manages to survive to this day through various caretakers after the creator left the project.ДЄs an Alternate History mod the world depicted is of course very different from vanilla. Discovered this subreddit a week ago and thought that a little advertising from the mod could be good so here it goes.
